Who can request removal
A person shown in content, that person's authorised representative, a parent or guardian acting for a minor, a rights holder, or another person with a credible safety or legal interest may submit a request. No payment is required to make a report or obtain a good-faith review.
What to include
- the complete URL of every page concerned;
- whether you are depicted, authorised to act, or asserting another right;
- the reason for removal and any time-sensitive safety concern;
- a reliable way to contact you; and
- information sufficient to verify the request where identity or authority matters.
Do not email illegal imagery or unnecessary government identification. XBurma may request limited verification through a safer follow-up channel and should redact information that is not needed for review.
Priority cases
Reports involving a possible minor, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking, coercion, credible threats, doxxing or immediate physical danger receive priority. Access may be disabled before the review is complete when the reported risk is credible.
Review, outcome and preservation
XBurma may remove or restrict a page, request more information, deny a request that lacks a sufficient basis, or refer a matter to the relevant source or authority. A restricted item is not automatically restored merely because a source still hosts it. Limited records may be preserved when necessary to document the decision, prevent re-upload, respond to legal process or protect a person.
Appeal
A requester or affected account may ask for one reconsideration by replying with “Appeal” in the subject, the original case details and specific reasons the decision should change. A DMCA counter-notice is a separate statutory process described in the DMCA policy.
